作品はまずは制作者にとっての暗号だ。自分自身がそれを解いていくのが創るという過程となる。
答えの片鱗は常に発見され続けるけれども自分に回答の全貌が明かされることはない。
回答も新しい謎も、作品と制作行為の中で不断に生成され続ける。
その謎を蹂躙せずに傍らに立つようにして創られた作品ならば、それが観る人々にとっても暗号となる可能性が生まれるだろう。
An art work is, first of all, a cryptograph to the creator. Solving it is the process of creation.
Although understanding is getting deeper little by little, whole answer will never be found.
Both comprehension and new mysteries continue to arise in the work and acts making it.
If a piece is created in a way the artist doesn’t violate the mystery and stand gently beside it, there will be a possibility that it becomes a cryptograph also for those who watch it.
